K S M Furniture

If you come down to the VGS Complex on Channel Road, you will find K S M Furniture. We are located at 10 Electronic City 7th Cross, right near the Link Road. The shop is usually full of the smell of cut wood and varnish. We spend our hours moving heavy tables and chairs around to make space for new things coming in. It is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes because we have so much stuff on the floor. The workshop part is in the back where most of the actual work happens. You can hear the saws running most of the morning. We get quite a bit of dust on our clothes by the end of the shift. The 7th Cross area can get quite congested with all the people working in Electronic City, so we see a lot of folks stopping by on their way home. We don’t have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is just a practical space where we put things together. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the trucks go by on the Link Road. Other days, we are loading up the delivery van non-stop. We’ve been at this location for a while and the neighbors know us. It’s hard work, lifting all that heavy timber, but it is what we do. We just keep the tools sharp and the floor swept as much as possible to keep it clean.
