K P R Tent House

If you head down Nanjappa Road in Vidyaranyapura, you’ll find us at K P R Tent House, number 252. We’ve got a lot of space dedicated to storing all the things needed for outdoor events. There are stacks of iron frames for the tents, bundles of colorful cloth, and rows of plastic chairs that we’ve had for years. Setting up a tent is harder than it looks, especially when the ground is uneven or the wind starts picking up. Our team is usually out on the road early in the morning, hauling everything to different spots around Vidyaranyapura and the neighboring areas. When we’re back at the shop, we’re usually checking for holes in the fabric or painting the metal poles to keep them from rusting too much. The warehouse can get a bit messy, with ropes and wires tangled in corners, but we know where everything is. We don't spend much on decorating our own place since the equipment takes up all the room. Customers usually come by to talk about how many people they're expecting or what kind of stage they need. We just write it all down in a thick ledger book. It’s physical work, and our backs often ache by the end of a long weekend. We just provide the basics for people to have their gatherings, nothing more, nothing less.
