This branch of K. Mohan& Co. Exports Pvt. Ltd. is located at House No 15 on 1st Main in the Jakkasandra Extension. Koramangala is a very busy area, but our little corner on 1st Cross stays a bit more grounded than the rest of the neighborhood. It is an old-school house that was turned into an office space years ago. We handle the export side of the business from here. People often get lost looking for the specific cross because the streets are narrow, but once you find the house, it is pretty straightforward. We have a few desks set up and plenty of files stacked in the corners. Being in Bangalore, the weather is usually nice enough to keep the windows open for a breeze. We do not spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signs. Most of our work is done through emails and long phone conversations with clients and suppliers abroad. It is a practical setup for a working group. The 560034 area is packed with startups and tech companies these days, but we are just a regular firm doing our bit. We have been here for a good stretch of time. Some of the staff have been around since we first opened these doors. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep up with the shipping schedules. There is no corporate ladder to climb here. We just work together in this house. It feels more like a home than a glass office building.
