We are located at 3031 in Indira Nagar, right near Parihar Chowk. It’s a very busy intersection, so there’s never really a quiet moment around our place. We deal in the fish trade, which means our day starts much earlier than most people’s. We are usually here before the sun is even up, getting the stock ready for the morning. The shop is a simple setup with plenty of space for the crates and the ice blocks. It’s a wet and cold environment, even in the middle of a hot summer. We don't have fancy decorations or a lounge for people to sit in while they wait. It’s a place of business where things move fast. Most of our customers are regulars from the area who have been coming to us for years. They know exactly where we are at number 3031. We spend a lot of our time on the phone talking to suppliers or checking the quality of what comes in on the trucks. Indira Nagar has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more crowded and noisy, but we’ve stayed right here at the chowk. We aren't some big corporate entity; we’re just a local business making sure we have what people need every day. By the time most people are starting their workday, we’ve already been busy for hours. It’s a tiring job but we are used to the rhythm of the market and the smells of the fresh catch.
