K G N Provision Stores

K G N Provision Stores is just a basic neighborhood shop located at 718 Godadara Naher in Jayanagar. I’ve been running this place for about twelve years now. It’s your typical corner store where you can get milk, rice, some spices, and whatever else you might have forgotten at the big supermarket. I live just upstairs, so I’m usually here from early morning until pretty late at night. The shelves are crowded, and sometimes I forget where I put the smaller items like matchboxes or specific soaps. My wife helps out in the evenings when the school crowd comes in for snacks. We don't have a fancy computer system; I still write most of the bills by hand in a little notebook. It’s easier that way for me. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I opened, with new buildings going up everywhere, but our little shop stays pretty much the same. We have a cat that hangs around the front door, and most of the kids like to pet him. People come in not just to buy things but to complain about the weather or talk about the local news. It’s a social spot as much as it is a business. We don't do deliveries because I can't leave the shop unattended. If you need something, you just walk over. That’s how we’ve always done it. It’s not much, but it’s what we do.
