Jothi Traders

Jothi Traders is right on Egmore High Road at 47A. If you know Egmore, you know how busy it gets. The street is always full of people and cars, especially near the station. Our shop is not very big, but we have squeezed a lot into it over the years. It is an old building, the kind where the walls are thick but the windows are a bit small. We do a lot of trading here, mostly daily stuff that people need. It involves a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the noise from the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard. We have been here long enough that the postman does not even look at the address anymore. There is a tea shop nearby where we usually get our morning fix. The floor tiles are a bit worn out from all the walking back and forth. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us, the inventory, and the customers who drop by. Every morning we roll up the shutters and start the day. It is a bit dusty because of the road, but that is just life in this part of town. We keep the books manually for the most part. It is simpler that way. If you are coming by, parking is a nightmare, so it is better to walk from the corner.
