Joseph ICICI Prulife

Joseph ICICI Prulife is really just me, Joseph, working out of a small space at Malleshwaram 101. I’ve been in the insurance line for a long time, and I chose Malleshwaram because it has that old Bangalore feel that I like. My office isn't anything special to look at. It has a desk, two chairs for clients, and a lot of brochures that I try to keep organized in those plastic holders. People come in to talk about their life insurance or their kids' education plans. I try to explain things in plain words because the forms are always so confusing with all that fine print. I spend a lot of my time drinking tea from the stall around the corner while I wait for people to show up for their appointments. Sometimes they don't show up at all, and that’s just how it goes. I don't have a big staff or a fancy computer setup. I do most of the paperwork by hand first before I enter it into the system. The building is a bit old, and the stairs are quite steep, so I tell my older clients to just call me and I’ll come down to meet them. It’s a very personal way of working. I know most of the people who walk past my door every morning. It’s a good spot to be in, and I plan on staying here as long as I can.
