Jindal Stainless Ltd.

I’ve been at this for a long time, ever since I finished up as a civil graduate from Bangalore University in the year 1994. Now, I’m over here at Jindal Stainless Ltd. It’s a bit of a shift from those university days, but the basics of building and materials stay with you. The work here is steady. We don't have a traditional street address listed here, just my background, which I guess says something about how we do things. It’s more about the person and the work than a fancy office park. I spend my hours looking over specs and making sure the stainless steel we deal with is up to the task. My desk is covered in old notebooks from 1994 onwards and a lot of pens that barely work. I don't really go for the high-tech office look. It’s more about the practical side of the industry. People ask why I left Bangalore or what I’ve been doing since graduation, and usually, the answer is just working hard here. Jindal Stainless Ltd is a good place to put that civil engineering knowledge to use, even if it’s not in the way I originally imagined back in school. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just me and a few others getting through the pile of work on our desks. It’s honest work and it keeps me busy.
