Jinalloy Steel Industry

We’ve been here at the Pete Chennappa Industrial Estate for a while now. If you head down Magadi Main Road and turn into the KHB Colony area, you’ll find us easily enough. It gets pretty loud around here with all the metal moving around, but that’s just how it is in a steel yard. Most days it’s just us dealing with whatever orders come in. Some days are busier than others. We handle a lot of different steel parts. It's dusty work, and the sun hits the roof hard in the afternoon. My desk is usually covered in papers and some grit from the floor. We don’t have fancy offices or anything like that. Just the workshop and the machines. People usually drop by if they need something specific for their projects. Sometimes the traffic on Magadi Road makes it a bit of a pain to get here, but once you’re inside the estate, it’s a bit calmer. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There isn't much to say other than we spend most of our time making sure the cuts are right and the loads are ready for the trucks. It’s a basic setup. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It's a tight squeeze for the big lorries sometimes. We just try to get through the day's list. That's about it really. We started out small and stayed that way because it works for us.
