Jeevejyothi Glass & Plywoods

Jeevejyothi Glass & Plywoods is located over in Shanthi Nagar on Basavanapura Road. Our specific address is 3/760. It is a decent-sized place where we keep both glass sheets and various plywood boards. Having both materials in one shop means we have to be extra careful not to knock the heavy wood into the fragile glass sections. The shop floor is usually a bit of a maze with all the different materials stacked up in rows. We have got the plywood piles on one side and the glass racks on the other. Basavanapura Road can get quite busy in the evenings, so we always try to get our loading and unloading done before the heavy traffic picks up. Shanthi Nagar is a nice local area, and we have seen a lot of small changes around here over the many years we’ve been open. Inside the shop, there is always a mix of smells, mostly fresh cut wood and the pungent cleaner we use for the glass sheets. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most people just walk in and tell us what size they need, and then we go find it in the dark back room. The floor is a bit uneven in some spots, so we have to watch our step. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains hard in the monsoon, so we have to move the stock around to keep it dry. It is just a regular local shop.
