Jaya Chandur Roadways

Our office is over at 13/6 Basavanagudi, which is a pretty old and busy part of town. Jaya Chandur Roadways has been moving stuff around for years now. It started with just a couple of vehicles and now we have more, but the work is still the same. Transport is mostly about timing and making sure the drivers know where they’re going. Basavanagudi is full of narrow lanes, so getting trucks in and out can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking where a load is or if the highway is clear. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of paperwork, grease, and worrying about tires. We handle all sorts of goods, mostly just moving things from point A to point B without any damage. Sometimes the weather gets bad and things get delayed, but we just call the client and let them know. We don’t have a fancy website or a big sales team. Most people find us because they saw our trucks or someone told them we’re reliable. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so we take it personally if a delivery goes wrong. We’re usually there early in the morning, making sure the logs are updated and the guys are ready to go. It’s just how we’ve always done it here in this neighborhood.
