Jauhar Telecom

Jauhar Telecom is right on Residency Road 9. If you know this part of town, you know it is always packed with cars and people. Our shop is tucked in there, right where all the action is. We spend our time working on mobile phones and selling small electronics. It is a fast-paced spot because everyone is always in a hurry. We see all kinds of people coming through the door, from students to office workers. Most want a quick fix for a cracked screen or a battery that won't hold a charge. We do our best to keep up with the demand. The space is tight, so we have to stay organized. Sometimes the noise from Residency Road gets to be a bit much, but you get used to it after a few months. We have got a display case with some cases and chargers, but the real work happens at the small desk in the back. We do not use big words or try to sell people stuff they do not need. If we can fix it, we will. If it is a lost cause, we will tell you straight. It is a busy life here at number 9. We keep the shop open late because that is when a lot of people realize they need help with their tech. It is just us doing what we know how to do. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us helping out. The rent is high here, so we have to stay busy. It’s a good spot though.
