We’re set up over at 210 on 5th A Cross in the 3rd Block of H.R.B.R. Extension, which most people just call Kalyan Nagar. Jarvis Equipment has been around for a few years now, though we’ve moved stuff around inside the office more times than I can count. It’s a decent area, fairly quiet compared to the main roads, which makes it easier to focus on the technical side of things. We deal with all sorts of machinery and equipment parts. Usually, the floor is covered with crates or pieces of metal that we’re checking over. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find plush carpets or fancy decor. We have a few desks, some heavy shelving, and a lot of grease and oil around. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch time from handling the gear. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re just a small group of people who understand how these machines work. Sometimes the shipments get delayed at the port or the warehouse, and we have to spend the day explaining that to folks, which isn't the fun part of the job. But when everything is running smooth, it’s a good place to be. We’ve lived and worked in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so we’re pretty settled in at this point. We just do our work and go home.
