Janata Iron Mart

Janata Iron Mart has been around Shivaji Nagar for a good while now. We are right on Dp Road in Aundh, not too far from St Johns Church. It’s a busy spot but we like it here. People usually stop by when they are looking for specific iron pieces or building materials. Most days it is just us moving things around and making sure everything is where it should be. The shop at 93/ 1 is pretty easy to find if you know the church area. We deal with a lot of heavy stuff, mostly iron rods and different metal items people need for their houses or projects nearby. It is dusty work and we don't really have a fancy office. Just a desk and some stacks of metal. Sometimes the delivery trucks take a bit of time to get through the traffic on Dp Road but we manage. If you live around Aundh or Shivaji Nagar, you've probably walked past us a dozen times without thinking much about it. We just keep doing what we do every day. It’s a straightforward business. We don't do anything flashy. It's just about having the right iron in stock when someone comes in asking for it. There is usually a bit of noise from the cutting or the loading, but that's just part of the job. We've seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years from our spot near the church. Still here, though.
