Janakpur Fm(Nepal)

Janakpur Fm (Nepal) is actually based here in Bangalore, which sometimes surprises people when they first hear it. We’re located at 30, 9th Main in the 2nd Stage of Binny Layout. This is in the Vijaynagar area, Bangalore-40. It’s a pretty lively neighborhood with a lot of shops and people moving about. Our office is tucked away in the layout. It’s not a huge broadcasting house with neon lights. It’s just a few rooms with the gear we need to keep things running. We spend most of our time dealing with the technical side of the FM station. There’s always some cable that needs fixing or a schedule that needs updating. It’s a lot of routine work, but we like it. The 9th Main gets quite busy in the evenings, so we usually try to get our main work done early in the day. We don't have a big staff, just a small group of us who know how to handle the equipment. We aren't trying to be the biggest station out there. We just do our thing and stay consistent. The building is just a normal one, nothing that stands out. We’ve been here in Binny Layout for a while and we know the neighbors pretty well. It’s just a regular workplace where we show up, do the job, and go home. No fancy corporate stuff here.
