Our factory, Jallan Polypack India Pvt Ltd, is located at 8 C in the KIADB Industrial Area, Peddanna Reddy Layout, Horamavu. Being in an industrial area means there is always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. We make packaging materials, so the place is full of large rolls of plastic and big machines that hum all day long. It’s a large space, but it fills up fast when we have a big production run going. The floor is concrete and there are always scraps that need sweeping up. We aren't a corporate office with a lobby. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us on the shop floor checking the settings on the equipment. Horamavu has become a lot busier over the years, and the roads in the layout can be a bit bumpy. We don't really have a marketing person. Usually, the owner or one of the supervisors handles everything. We just focus on getting the packaging right so it doesn't fail when people use it. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them, which is frustrating, but that's part of manufacturing. It’s a busy, dusty, and loud place to work, but we are used to it. We just try to get the orders out on time and keep things moving. It’s a very practical, hands-on kind of business for us.
