Jain Metals

Jain Metals is located in the middle of Yeshwantpur, right in the Sadar Bazar area at 853/11. It is a very crowded place. There are people and carts moving around all day long. Our shop is filled with different types of metal pieces. It is hard to keep it tidy with so much stock coming in. We’ve been here for many years. My father started this, and now we just keep it going. We don't have a big sign or bright lights. Most people find us because they’ve been told where to go. We deal with a lot of small builders and local craftsmen. They stop by, look at the piles of metal, and pick what they need. We weigh everything on an old scale that has never let us down. There isn't much room to move inside the shop, so we often talk to customers on the sidewalk. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a small shop nearby that brings us tea. We don't use computers much. Everything is written down in our books. If you need something specific, you might have to wait while we dig through the stacks. It’s a slow process sometimes. We aren't in a hurry. We just want to make sure everyone gets the right material for their projects. Sadar Bazar is our home and we plan on staying here at this address. It is a bit loud and dusty, but it is where we belong.
