If you’re looking for us, we are down on Silver Jubilee Park Road, right in that busy stretch near M V Lane. It’s easy to miss if you aren't looking, but we are right next to Universal Electronics. The shop is filled with all sorts of furniture, from wooden cupboards to chairs and tables. It gets pretty dusty in here sometimes because of all the wood and the traffic outside. We’ve been on SJP Road for a long time, and we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a crowded area, so there is always someone moving a sofa or unloading a truck in the lane. We don't have a big fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s more of a practical space where things are stacked up. People come in, sit on a few chairs to see if they like them, and we talk about what they need for their house. Sometimes we have to move three things just to show someone one wardrobe. It is honest work, and it keeps us on our feet all day. The street is always loud with horns and people shouting, but that’s just life in this part of the city. We try to keep things simple and give people a fair deal on whatever they pick out. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, nothing too formal. We’re just here from morning till evening, making sure the furniture gets sold and the shop stays open.
