Jagadamba Stores

Jagadamba Stores is located right on the Main Road in Bangalore City. It is a very busy spot and there is always something happening outside our door. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. The shop itself is filled with all kinds of items you might need for your home. We have everything from grains and spices to small household goods. It isn't a modern supermarket where everything is under bright neon lights. It’s more of a traditional store where things are stacked up on wooden shelves. Sometimes the aisles feel a bit narrow when there are more than three people inside, but we make it work. We spend our days talking to customers and making sure the jars are filled. The traffic on the Main Road can be quite loud, so we have to speak up sometimes. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Bangalore, just a reliable one for the people living nearby. My family helps out, and we usually have tea together in the back when things quiet down in the afternoon. We don't use any complicated systems. Everything is handled by hand and we know where every single item is kept. The front door squeaks a bit when it opens, but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s just a normal, busy shop in the heart of the city.
