J P Balimo Food Lounge Deck Bar is out here at the 10th Mile in Wadaki. The address is 218 Pune Saswad Road, but most people just look for the deck. It’s a bit of a drive if you’re coming from Sankey Road, but we have plenty of space once you get here. We wanted a place where people could just hang out and grab a drink after a long day. It’s not some high-end lounge where you have to dress up. Most of the guys come in straight from work. We’ve got the food and the bar, and we try to keep the music at a level where you can still talk. The deck is the best part, especially when the weather is nice. We deal with the usual stuff you’d expect out here on the Saswad Road, like the dust and the traffic noise. But inside, it’s alright. We aren’t trying to be the most famous place in Pune. We just want to be a reliable spot for the locals in Wadaki. Sometimes we get a bit shorthanded on the weekends, so service might be a little slower than we’d like. We’re just regular people running a business. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just us, the kitchen staff, and the folks who show up to have a good time. It’s a simple setup at the 10th mile.
