J M J Store

If you walk down 2nd Cross in T Dasarahalli, you will find J M J Store. We are situated near the Chokkasandra KIADB Road area, which is always full of people going to the factories nearby. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of things people need for their homes. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter or moving around the small aisles to find things for customers. It gets quite dusty because of all the trucks moving on the KIADB Road, so we have to wipe the jars and packets quite often. We’ve been here in Chokkasandra for quite a while now. The regulars know us by name, and we know exactly what they usually buy without them even asking. Sometimes the electricity goes off and we have to use a torch to find things in the back. It isn't a flashy place with bright signs or anything. Just a simple store with a wooden counter and a lot of shelves reaching up to the ceiling. We keep the doors open all day to let some air in, even if it brings in the noise from the street. It is a simple life, opening up early and closing once the last worker has gone home from the factories. We just keep things running as best as we can, day after day, in this little corner of Dasarahalli. We don't have much time for anything else.
