Our business, J K Steel, is based in the Peenya Industrial Area at number 25. We are specifically located in the Kassi Market within the K I A D B Complex. It is a very industrial setting, as you can imagine, with lots of trucks, metal, and heavy machinery all around us. The air usually smells like dust and iron. We deal with various steel products, mostly for construction or manufacturing use. The office is just a small room off the main storage area where we keep the invoices and records. It’s usually pretty loud because of the work going on in the neighboring units. We aren't here to give fancy presentations. Most of our day is spent checking the weight of loads and talking to suppliers. Peenya is a huge place, and it’s easy to get lost if you don't know the complex well. We've been here long enough that we have our own way of doing things. It’s dusty and sometimes a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but that’s just life in an industrial park. We focus on getting the steel out to where it needs to go on time. It is hard, physical work, and we don't try to make it sound like anything else. Just a steel yard in the middle of the market, doing what we do every single morning until the gates close.
