J. K. Industries Ltd.

We are located in Jaykaygram, right by the P.O. Tyre Factory area in Kankroli. It’s a big industrial patch, so there’s always a lot of activity and the sound of machines in the background. Most people know J. K. Industries Ltd. because of where we're situated. Most of our day is spent around the factory floor, keeping an eye on how things are running. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but that’s just part of working in this industry. We have a lot of different people coming through the gates every day, from drivers to suppliers. It’s a lot of coordination. We don't have a big fancy office; it's mostly just practical spaces where we can sit down and look over the schedules. The yard stays busy with trucks moving in and out to deliver materials or pick up finished goods. Sometimes things break down and we have to scramble to fix them, which can be stressful, but we usually figure it out. Kankroli is a good place for this kind of work. We’ve been here long enough that the local rhythm feels natural to us. It’s not the quietest job, but it keeps us busy from start to finish. We focus on getting the work done right so we don't have to redo it later. It's a lot of grit and grease, to be honest. You get used to the smell of rubber after a while. We just keep the production moving as best as we can every day.
