J J Metal Suppliers is situated at Peenya Relief Road 449. If you know Peenya, you know it is all about industry and big trucks moving in and out at all hours. Our spot is right on the main road, which makes it easy for the lorries to pull in, but it is also very loud. We have stacks of different metals piled up against the walls. Some of it is iron, some of it is brass, and a lot of it is just scrap we are sorting through. The office is just a small cabin in the corner with a few chairs that have seen better days. We don't spend much time sitting though. There is always a delivery arriving or someone looking for a specific gauge of wire. The dust from the relief road settles on everything, so we are constantly wiping down the counters. It is a busy life here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people just see the sign when they are driving past or they know us from being in the area for so long. We deal with the big factories nearby and also the smaller workshops that just need a few kilos of material. It is a straightforward business. We weigh the metal, we load the trucks, and we move on to the next task. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit through the roof, but we just move the stock out of the way and keep on working.
