We’ve been here at No.77 Wheeler Road for quite a while now. Most people know us because we're just down from the Cox Town Circle. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep the shelves full with whatever the neighbors usually ask for. You’ll find the usual things like dal, rice, soaps, and those small packets of biscuits the kids like. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. The old wooden counter has been there since my father’s time and it’s seen a lot of change on this street. We open up early in the morning, usually around the time the milk delivery arrives. It’s a quiet routine. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just a regular place where you can pick up a tube of toothpaste or some tea powder without making a big deal of it. The rain sometimes leaks a little near the back door if it pours too hard, but we manage. People around Cox Town have been coming here for years, and we know most of their faces. It’s not a big corporate business, just us running things day to day. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and dusting the bottles. If you walk past the circle, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded now, but it still does the job.
