Down on 100 Feet Road in Indira Nagar, it’s always loud and there is always something going on. We are tucked away near the 13th Cross at number 1135 in the Hal 2nd Stage area. It is a busy spot to be in, that is for sure. Most of us working here have been in the neighborhood for a long time. We have seen it turn from a quiet place with big houses into this place full of shops and cars. Our morning routine is pretty basic. We get in, start the prep work in the kitchen, and make sure the place is ready for the first few people to walk in. We don't really do the whole polished corporate thing here. It’s just a handful of us making sure the food is decent and the tables aren't sticky. Sometimes things get a bit messy when the weekend crowd shows up or when it starts pouring rain outside, but we just deal with it as it comes. You will usually find us talking about the latest traffic jam or what the delivery guys are saying. The building is just a regular old structure we have tried to keep up with. We spend quite a bit of our time fixing small things like a leaky tap or a squeaky door. It is hard work being on your feet all day, but it is what we know. We don't have any big slogans. We’re just here every day.
