We are based right here in Bangalore, working under the name Ip Procure - Unicita Consulting Pvt. Ltd. The city is a big place, and we’ve found our own little corner to handle all the intellectual property and consulting work that comes our way. Our office isn't one of those massive glass towers you see in the advertisements. It’s a more modest setup where we can actually hear each other talk without needing a headset. We spend a lot of our time looking over documents and making sure all the legal and technical bits are in the right place. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of patience and a lot of tea. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or a polished corporate image. We’re just a group of people who know how the system works and we use that knowledge to help others out. Some days we’re buried under a mountain of paperwork, and other days we’re out meeting people across the city. The traffic in Bangalore is always a topic of conversation in the office, but we manage to get where we need to go. We like the fact that we can keep things personal and not get lost in a big corporate machine. It’s just us, our computers, and the work we do every day to keep things moving forward. We try to be helpful and honest in what we do, even if it takes a bit longer than expected.
