We are over at Flat 118 in the B-4 block in Bangalore. It is a bit of a specific spot to find if you are not looking closely at the building numbers. Most of us get here pretty early before the traffic really starts to pile up on the main roads around 560095. There is usually someone at the desk by nine, but things do not really get moving until everyone has had their first tea. It is just a regular office space, nothing too fancy, with plenty of computers and desks shoved into the rooms. We spend most of the day looking at screens and talking about software issues or whatever project is due next. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we keep the windows open when the dust is not too bad outside. You might hear the local traffic or the neighbors moving around since it is a residential-style setup. We have been here for a while now and most of the staff knows the neighborhood pretty well. There are a few good spots nearby to grab lunch, which is where you will find most of us around one o’clock. It is a quiet enough place to get work done without too much fuss. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come. It is not the biggest office in the city, but it works for what we need to do.
