Intellectual Ventures India is situated at 402 Cunningham Road. It’s one of those classic parts of the city that has a lot of history. Our office is a bit of a mix of old-fashioned filing and modern technology. We spend our time looking into ideas, patents, and how things are invented. It’s a bit specialized, but at the end of the day, it’s just a bunch of us sitting at desks researching stuff. We talk to people who have come up with new things and try to help them figure out the technical side of things. Some days we are buried under piles of research papers. Other days we are on the phone trying to track down information. It’s a lot of thinking and discussing. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and go home. The office gets a lot of light in the afternoons which is nice for the people sitting by the windows. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about things other than work sometimes. Cunningham Road can get pretty packed with cars, so we usually try to get in early. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. People know us as the folks who deal with the technical side of things. It’s a steady pace here, not too fast but never really slow either. We like the neighborhood.
