We are set up at No 62 on the 2nd Cross in Manjunatha Layout, which is part of R.T. Nagar in Bangalore. It’s a fairly quiet pocket compared to the main roads, which is nice when we’re trying to concentrate. At Infomedia India, we deal with a lot of information and media projects. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and a lot of books and records. We don’t have a flashy sign outside or anything. It’s just a regular building where we spend our days. Bangalore weather is usually okay, but when it rains, the streets around here get a bit messy. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals know us. We aren't big on corporate talk or wearing suits. Most of us just wear whatever is comfortable and get to work. The tea lady comes by in the afternoon, and that’s usually the highlight of the day. We spend a lot of time checking facts and organizing data. It’s slow, steady work that doesn’t need a lot of hype. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar with due dates. It’s a simple operation where everyone knows what they have to do. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with the media stuff until it’s time to go home. It’s a decent enough way to earn a living in a big city like this.
