You can find us at the entrance of Mahalakshmi Layout in Bangalore, right at 185, 1st Main Road. This is where Indusfila operates. Bangalore has changed a lot over the years, but this corner of the city still feels familiar to us. We’ve got a steady routine here. The morning starts with opening up the shutters and letting some air into the building. Since we are near the layout entrance, there’s always a lot of traffic and people passing by. We deal with textiles and filaments, so there’s usually a bit of dust and a lot of thread around the place. It’s a practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather focus on the machines and the materials. The staff here are good people who have learned the trade over many years. We don’t really use big words or talk about innovation much. We just try to make sure the quality of the thread is what it should be and that the orders go out when they are supposed to. Some days are more stressful than others, especially when a machine breaks down or a delivery is stuck in Bangalore traffic, but that’s just part of the job. We enjoy the work and we like being in this part of town. It’s a solid, honest business and we are happy to keep it running just the way it is without making things complicated.
