Indus Tree Crafts Pvt Ltd

We are located at 497/A, in the Xnanjappa Reddy Layout. It’s in the 8th Block of Koramangala, which is a pretty popular place, but our little corner is a bit quieter than the main roads. Indus Tree Crafts Pvt Ltd has been in this layout for a while now. We have some trees nearby that drop leaves all over the entrance, so someone has to sweep them away every single morning before we open up. Inside, the space is filled with the smell of natural materials. We work with a lot of different crafts, so there’s always something interesting to look at, though it usually looks like a mess to an outsider. The light in the office is okay during the day, but we had to add some extra lamps for the evenings. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much the most important piece of equipment we own. Most of us live nearby, so we just walk or bike to work. It’s a local feel, and we know the neighbors by name. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of where everything happens. Sometimes the delivery trucks have trouble finding the specific turn in the layout, so we have to go out and wave them down. It’s just regular daily life for us here in Bangalore. We keep things simple.
