Indus Textiles Limited

Our textile business is located at B.K. Nagar, Number 36, in Yeswanthpur. We share the space with C. Ramesh, and it is a very busy part of Bangalore. Yeswanthpur is known for its markets and industries, so there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. Inside our space, you’ll find stacks of different fabrics and rolls of cloth piled up high against the walls. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze to walk through the aisles sometimes. The air always has a bit of lint in it, which is just part of the job when you work with textiles. We spend our days checking the quality of the materials and packing up orders for customers. There are no fancy showrooms here; it’s mostly a working warehouse and a small desk for the accounts. The train station is close by, so we hear the whistles and the rumbling of the tracks all day long. We have a few old sewing machines in the corner that we use for samples. It’s a lot of physical work, moving the heavy bundles and making sure everything is labeled correctly. We usually have our tea standing up because there isn't much room to sit down. It’s just a honest, hard-working environment where we focus on the fabric and getting things shipped out on time. The Bangalore traffic can be tough so we start early in the morning.
