Indus Steels Alloys Ltd.

We are located at No. 38- H-22 on South End Road in Basavanagudi. Indus Steels Alloys Ltd. has been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s a solid old place on a road that gets quite a lot of traffic. Most of our work involves dealing with metal supplies and keeping track of the inventory coming in and out. It’s not a quiet office. You can often hear the sound of metal being moved or the heavy trucks passing by outside. The walls are a bit stained from years of work, and the furniture is mostly functional rather than comfortable. We spend a lot of our time checking specifications and making sure the numbers in the ledgers match what's in the warehouse. There’s a lot of dust that comes with dealing with steel and alloys, so things never stay clean for very long. We usually have tea brought in from the shop down the street around mid-morning. It’s a routine we’ve stuck to. There aren't many frills here. We focus on the logistics and the heavy lifting that comes with this kind of trade. The neighborhood has changed a lot, but South End Road still feels like home to us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes the phone rings all day, and other times it’s just us and the sound of the ceiling fan. It’s a basic operation but it keeps us busy from morning until evening.
