Tangent Interiors

We have been working out of this space on the fourth floor for quite a while now. Most people find us because we are right across the street from New Horizon School on 100 Feet Road. It gets pretty loud and busy downstairs with all the traffic, but up here it is mostly just the sound of us moving furniture samples around. Our desks are usually buried under piles of fabric swatches and blueprints. Sometimes we trip over a rug that someone left in the middle of the floor. It is just a small team of us here. We don’t have a fancy front desk with a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see one of us hunched over a laptop or talking to a carpenter on the phone. The coffee machine in the corner makes a loud rattling noise, but it gets the job done. We spend our days trying to figure out how to make a kitchen fit into a weirdly shaped corner or picking out the right shade of grey for a living room wall. It isn't always glamorous work. There is a lot of dust from the site visits we do. We like being in this part of town though. The view from the window shows how much the area has changed over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on finishing the drawings before the deadlines hit us. It is just how we work.
