Hung Shoe

If you head over to Malnad Towers in G. M. Palya, that is where you will find our small shoe shop. We are located at number 266 on the 6th Cross, right in the 1st Stage of Indira Nagar. It is a decent enough spot to be in, though finding a place to park your scooter on this particular cross can be a real headache some days. We mostly spend our time dealing with shoes of all different kinds. The shelves in the shop are usually packed tight with stock, and sometimes the cardboard boxes end up stacked in the corners when a new delivery arrives and we haven't had time to put it all away. That is just how we operate. We don't have a large staff at all, just a few of us who have worked here long enough to know exactly where every size and style is kept. People from around the neighborhood stop in quite a bit just to see what is new. It is not like those big shopping malls where everything feels shiny and cold. Here, we know all the little creaks in the floorboards and which light switches you have to wiggle to get them to stay on. We spend most of our hours organizing the pairs and helping folks find something that fits their feet reasonably well. It gets a little dusty with all the leather and fabric around, but we try to sweep up. It is a local business and we just like the routine.
