Indian Steel Traders

Our yard is out in Peenya 2nd Stage. Specifically, we are on the Main Road in Sri Muneshwara Estates. If you know where the Peenya Police Station is, we are directly opposite that building. It’s a very busy spot with lots of trucks moving around and a fair amount of noise from the road. Indian Steel Traders has been operating from this exact location for quite some time now. The dust from the street gets everywhere, so don’t come expecting a shiny or polished office. We deal with steel all day long. It is heavy, physical work and our hands usually have some grease or dirt on them by noon. The area is very industrial, which suits the kind of work we do just fine. There are a lot of other businesses around here, but everyone knows the police station as a landmark. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us and the inventory we keep in the back. Some days are quite long, especially when the loading process is slow or a truck is delayed. We just get on with things. The gates open up early and stay open until the work for the day is finished. It’s not a glamorous job, but steel is what we know and understand. We move the material, talk to the drivers, and keep track of everything in our books. It is practical work for practical people.
