Indian Institute Of Science, Bangalore

Working out of C-430 in the New Housing Colony at the Indian Institute Of Science in Bangalore is a bit different from a regular office job. The campus is huge and has a lot of trees, which makes it a nice place to be every day. We are located right there in Bangalore-560012. Most of the time, we are busy with the daily tasks that come with being part of such a large institution. It’s a quiet area mostly, though you hear the sounds of the campus throughout the day. Our space isn't very large, but it serves its purpose for the work we do. We have been here for a while and have gotten used to the way things run around the housing colony. People often stop by if they are living nearby or working in the labs. We spend a lot of our hours just keeping things organized and making sure whatever needs to be done gets finished. It’s not a glamorous setup, just desks and chairs and the usual office equipment you’d expect. Bangalore traffic can be a mess, so being tucked away inside the IISc grounds is actually quite a relief. We focus on the practical side of things, making sure the paperwork is correct and the schedules are met. It’s just how we operate. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that because we are right here where the people need us and that seems to be enough for now.
