India Today Group

We work out of the BDA Flats in BTM Layout, specifically at MF 10/1. If you've spent any time in Bangalore, you know that BTM is a very crowded and busy place. Being in the BDA flats means our office is right in the middle of a residential block. It’s not your typical glass-and-steel media office. We are part of the India Today Group, but our local branch here is very down-to-earth. The rooms are full of old newspapers, magazines, and stacks of paper that we really should organize better. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but we know where everything is. There’s always someone talking on the phone or typing away at a keyboard. We don't have fancy uniforms or a strict corporate culture. We just dress comfortably and get to work. The street outside is always noisy with scooters and delivery bikes. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don't spend money on expensive decorations. We just have what we need to get the news and stories processed. It’s a busy environment and we all help each other out when things get hectic. We usually end the day by grabbing some snacks from the local vendors nearby. It’s a very normal, hardworking atmosphere and we like it that way. No one here is trying to be someone they are not.
