Our Bangalore office is over in Koramangala, specifically in the 6th Block at number 345. Anyone who knows Bangalore knows that Koramangala is always moving, and we are right in the middle of it. The India Today Group has been at this location for a good while. It’s a big building, but inside, it’s just us doing the daily tasks. There are stacks of magazines everywhere and TVs that stay on all day long to keep track of what’s happening. The 6th Block is a good area with lots of trees, but the traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We spend a lot of time at our desks, writing, editing, or just talking about the latest news. It’s not always quiet; there’s usually a bit of a hum from the air conditioning and people chatting in the halls. The office feels lived-in, with personal photos on desks and drawers that don't always shut right. We get our lunch from the local spots around the corner. It’s a lot of work, and some nights we are here much later than we planned. We don’t have a lot of corporate jargon or polished speeches here; we just try to get the facts straight and get the stories out. It’s a busy place with a lot of history in these walls, but at the end of the day, it’s just our workplace where we come to do a job we understand.
