Immaculate Steels Pvt Ltd is located at 3 Sadar Patrappa Road within the Narnarayan Estate. This area is pretty packed with warehouses and industrial units, so there’s always a lot of clanging and banging going on. We handle a lot of steel here, which means the floor has to be strong and we have to be careful where we step. The estate is a maze of different businesses, and we’ve been at number three for quite some time. Dealing with steel is heavy work. We spend our hours loading and unloading trucks that come through the narrow gates. Sometimes the traffic on Sadar Patrappa Road is so bad that the trucks get stuck for an hour just trying to reach us. Inside the building, the air always feels a bit cool because of all the metal stored around. We have a small office space tucked in one corner where the computer and the ledgers live, but most of the action happens out on the floor. We don't use fancy slogans; we just move the steel and keep track of the weight. It’s a lot of physical labor, and you have to be tough to do it day in and day out. Sometimes the overhead crane makes a bit of a squeak, but we just grease it and keep going. It’s just a standard steel yard operation really. We stay busy and don't worry about much else besides the next load.
