Our office is on the 3rd floor at 607 Koramangala VI Bk Sai Nagar, right on Yari Road. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. We spend our days talking to people and looking at papers. At Ikya Human Capital Solutions Pvt Ltd, we mostly deal with folks looking for work and companies needing hands. It’s a lot of phone calls and sitting at desks. Koramangala is always crowded, so getting here in the morning takes some time. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and take short breaks. The space is filled with desks and chairs, and it’s usually pretty loud with everyone talking at once. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. It’s just a place where work gets done. People come in for interviews all the time, looking nervous or excited. We try to talk to them like normal people, not like we are reading from a script. It’s a lot of matching names to jobs. Some days are stressful when there are deadlines, but we manage. We aren't trying to be some huge global firm; we just focus on the people who walk through our door on the 3rd floor. Yari Road has plenty of shops nearby, so we usually go out for lunch. It’s a regular job in a regular part of town and we like it just fine.
