Icmg is based right in the middle of Indiranagar in Bangalore. If you know this area you know how busy it gets with all the cafes and shops. Our office is tucked away in one of the lanes here. It is a great spot to be because there is always something going on. We work on architecture and business designs but we don’t talk about it in a complicated way. It is just about figuring out how things fit together. The office itself is pretty simple. We have some whiteboards and a lot of markers that are usually running out of ink. We spend a lot of time drawing diagrams and talking through ideas. Sometimes we go out to one of the local spots for a quick coffee when we get stuck on a problem. The noise from the main road doesn't bother us much anymore. We have a small team and we’ve been together for a long time. It feels less like a company and more like a group of people who just happened to find a good place to work. We don't have a big sign out front or anything. You just have to know which building it is. Indiranagar can be expensive but we like the convenience of it. Most of us take the metro to get here to avoid the parking mess. It’s a practical way to run a business in this city.
