Working out of House 118 in Brundavan Nagar is a bit different than the usual office experience people expect. We are located in Flat Number 1, right on the 2nd Cross and 2nd Main. If you know the Tavarekere Main Road area, you know it gets pretty packed with people and traffic most of the time. Our spot is a bit more tucked away, but you can still hear the city moving outside. It is basically a residential building that we have set up for our work. We go by the name Ibm India Limited here, but on this street, we are just the folks in the ground floor flat. The rooms are filled with desks and a lot of cables. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or ask about a delivery. It is not some high-rise building with a lobby and security guards at every turn. We manage things ourselves. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our lunch boxes. The 2nd Cross can be a bit tight for parking, so we usually tell people to find a spot on the main road and walk over. It is a practical setup for what we need to do every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone with fancy furniture. We just come in, do our tasks, and go home like everyone else in Bangalore. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes, which is alright with us.
