Our shop is located at No. 36/2 on Hennur Main Road, which is right near the Outer Ring Road. It is a good location for us because the transport trucks can find the building easily enough without getting lost in the smaller side streets. We deal with all sorts of metals here at Hybrid Metals. The shop floor is usually covered in metal scrap and tiny shavings, which is just the reality of this line of work. We have the Kalyan Nagar Post nearby, so that serves as a good landmark for anyone trying to find us for the first time. It is never a quiet place to work; there is always someone hammering something or a machine humming away in the background. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the quality of the metal and making sure the orders are packed up for the morning pick-up. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the late evenings, so we try to get our deliveries out the door before the rush really starts. We have a small group of guys working here. We are not interested in being some big corporate entity with a lot of rules. We just want to make sure the metal we handle is exactly what the customers ordered. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or looking over the current inventory. It is just us doing our daily bit. (249 words)
