We are over at Plot No 18 on H. Siddaiah Road. It is in the Doddamavalli area, quite close to Lalbagh Road. You can usually find us just by following the smell in the air. Since we work with flavours and fragrances, the air around our building is always a bit unusual. One day it might smell like oranges and the next it smells like roses or spice. It is a bit overwhelming if you are not used to it. The building is a simple concrete structure with few windows. We have some labs inside where we mix things together. They are the cleanest part of the whole place by far. The rest of the office is just normal with old wooden desks and a lot of glass bottles. We have to be very careful not to break anything on the floor. It is a private limited company, but it feels more like a small workshop to us. There are about five of us who work here regularly. We spend a lot of time measuring out liquids very carefully into jars. It takes a lot of patience. Sometimes a batch does not turn out right and we have to start all over. That is just part of the daily process. We do not have a fancy showroom for people to browse. Most of our work happens in the back room. Sudhama Nagar is a busy part of town, so there is always traffic.
