We've been here in Basavanagudi for a while now, specifically right on Gandhi Bazaar Main Road. If you know the area, you probably know the Bata showroom because it's a bit of a landmark for everyone around here. We are just on the second floor above them. It’s a busy spot with all the markets and people around, but it's where we do our daily work. Being Human Capital Consulting means we deal with people and their jobs most of the day. It’s not always easy keeping up with everything that happens in the city, but we like being in such a central place. The stairs can be a bit steep getting up here if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like in these older buildings. Most people find us by looking for the shoes downstairs first. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just some desks, chairs, and many files. It gets quite loud outside with the traffic and the vendors shouting, especially in the late evenings, but it's part of the charm of working in this part of town. We try to keep things simple and just focus on what needs to get done for the day. There are plenty of good coffee places nearby if we need a break from all the paperwork. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at resumes, trying to figure out who fits where. It's just regular work, really. Nothing too complicated. We’ve been at this address long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by name now, and we see the same faces every day.
