Home Basic Jobs is based out of Malleshwaram, specifically at number 288 in the Annapoorna Industrial Estate. We are up on the second floor. The estate is a busy place with all sorts of small businesses running out of the different units. It’s an older industrial area, so the buildings have that worn-in look. We spend our time here coordinating various tasks and talking to people on the phone. The second floor is usually humming with the sound of fans and people working. It’s a very functional space without any unnecessary decorations. Malleshwaram is a great location because it’s so central, but getting in and out of the industrial estate during peak hours takes some patience. We have desks, some old computers, and a lot of notebooks to keep track of everything. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a lobby. You just walk up the stairs and you’re in the middle of it. We deal with basic work opportunities and try to connect people with the right tasks. It’s a lot of organizing and making sure everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. Most of us have been working here for a long time, so we know the routine inside out. We don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It’s just a place where we help get work sorted out for people. We stay busy from morning till evening.
