Hindustan Stores

Hindustan Stores is tucked away in the Ibrahim Shah Complex at unit number 10/7. We are right on S P Road near Godown Street, which is a very busy area for trade. There is always a lot of activity outside with people loading goods and carts moving around. Our shop is often filled with boxes right up to the ceiling. It can be a bit cramped, but we have everything organized in our own way. We sell a lot of hardware and various supplies that people need for their shops or homes. We have been in this location for many years and have seen the complex change quite a bit. My family runs the place, so it is a very personal business for us. We don't bother with any fancy decorations or corporate branding. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to get around to it. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for a long time. They know they can just walk in and ask for what they need. We don't have a complicated computer system for our inventory. We mostly use old-fashioned ledgers and our own memory to keep track of things. It works well enough for us. We just focus on getting through the daily list of tasks and making sure the shop stays open for whoever needs us. It is a simple life but we are happy with it.
