Hewlett Packard

Our spot is at No. 23 on the Railway Layout Main Road. Being in Pillanna Garden 3rd Stage means we are right in the thick of things in Bangalore. The road outside can get really loud with the traffic, especially when the trains are nearby or when it’s peak hour. Hewlett Packard has this space here, and it’s basically where we spend most of our waking hours. The building itself is pretty standard for this area. We have a few rooms filled with desks and equipment. It isn’t the kind of place with a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Most of the time, you’ll just find us hunched over the hardware or talking about some technical issue that needs fixing. The floors are plain tile and the lighting is just those long tube lights that flicker a bit sometimes. We get our lunch from the small shops nearby and usually eat at our desks while we keep working. It’s a very practical environment. There’s always a bit of dust because of the construction going on down the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. We just focus on what’s in front of us. It’s a straightforward operation here in 560045, just people doing their jobs and trying to keep the machines running like they are supposed to without making a big deal out of it. It is just another busy day in this part of the city for all of us.
